Although I hate to distract attention from America's rare bear killers, I want to send a
big shout-out to our people in SLC (just 'cause) in the form of a song named after the lake, by the city, etc, etc.

It took me a long while to warm up to the Band of Horses, but this is great live version of this song ... which I can't seem to stop listening to.
Band of Horses, Great Salt Lake, Live on KEXP, Seattle.

I too am a latecomer to the BOH train - but I like 'em, especially Is There a Ghost? from the new record...
is the guy on the far side of the pickup Brendan Philips wearing a rug?
i think it's one of those new rugs for hipsters; comes attached to the inside of a hoodie.
American Apparel also has one for girls, where it's in the crotch of some unflattering underwear. i think they call it "The Goodie".
Well that beard sure looks fake. What is it, 100% Bear?
