There's a bit of construction going on, but aside from sounds of drilling and light pounding and a thin film of dust, I like my new office a great deal. Several people have stopped by to say hello and everyone has been very nice.

Eva, you look very cute and professional. But I hope that's not the IBM laptop circa 1998 that Shop Local threw at you. Will you get some new gear at the new job?
My laptop is an HP somethingorother and it boasts Energy Star certification. It feels slightly lighter than my previous laptop. That's it for gear. Word has it that soon we will all have new furniture. So I have that to look forward to for now. I might have to install a flat screen TV and a sound system. I might also add a beanbag chair and a fern. Right now the lighting would horrify Alice, so I'll need some table and floor lamps too.
