Indeed, the beard is magical. Is it me or does it sound voiced-over? It may just be the insanely low-quality speakers in my office that keep going in and out.
there's alot of weird stuff in the movie sound-wise. i think they used different takes sometimes and tried to match them up with what was on film.
i've seen it 100 times and it still depresses me. thank god abbey road was next. they tried to record during the day (a 1st), not at abbey road, with cameras rolling the whole time while they worked (and weren't getting along). it was going to be called 'get back', as it was supposed to be about the band playing as a band again.
and the best part of the movie is george getting shocked by his mic repeatedly.

You know how I feel about PM's beard.

I'm adding Pavarotti to the beards celebrity mix
I read somewhere that movie was a never-finished affair, and that the recordings and the footage of the same sessions were synced up later ...
but, that doesn't really explain it, does it?
